Valérie Kapeller was born in the canton of Vaud and graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Vevey. Under VK ORIGINAL, she creates her paper jewellery by producing "pearls" from tissue paper pulp. Motifs are taken from photographs or drawings she has found through aesthetic research to give a graphic effect to her jewellery.

She mainly uses stainless steel, leather, nickel-free metal, semi-precious gem stones, Bohemian crystal and Swarovski to create them.

Her jewellery range is above all flowing with items that follow the body's movement offering a unique touch of elegant colour as if wearing your very own piece of artwork.
