It was during the Christmas holidays 2014 that Klaus was once again overwhelmed by all the cheap plastic toys that his children received. He is worried about the harm done to our environment by the almost inexistent production, transportation and recycling of these gifts. At this time he had an idea! Why not produce a quality toy made entirely of renewable and recyclable raw materials? And why not a building toy that would promote the development of children and with which adults (such as Klaus) would also like to play ...
Playing is very important for the development and learning of our children. Construction toys like oi-blocks inspire imagination, three-dimensional thinking and creativity. All this matters a lot to us.
The oi-blocks are made of beech wood. No plastic. Only wood. They produce natural toys, which are made only of durable materials. The beech wood they use comes from Swiss forests. The blocks are sublimated with a natural oil that contains color pigments (or not). Oi-blocks are made in a workshop located on the shores of Geneva Lake in Switzerland.
