Designed for children of 4 and up, this story about the Ratazazous - tiny people, no taller than 3 pumpkins, with skin that's as grey as an elephant's - explores the difficulty of being separated from your parents, sibling rivalry and the journey of self-discovery. During a recognisably modern adventure in an imaginary world, its heroine, the young Pomponette learns to wait patiently for her parents while also learning, thanks to Monbômirouam her curious uncle, the workings of an amazing tool: the communication mirror. Through their imaginary technology, which echoes today's real technology in a humoristic and poetic fashion, these adorable little characters are a fable about modern means of communication.
